Jello with Antioxidants

Jello with Antioxidants

Sugar-free Jello with antioxidants – does it make Jello healthier? Technically, it probably does make Jello a bit more nutritious, but even with an addition of antioxidants it does not make the Jello diet healthier or more attractive for weight-loss purposes.

Nutritionally speaking, spiking gelatin with acai and strawberry flavors (and some antioxidants) is like trying to make a twinkie healthier by adding some fiber to it. Okay, maybe it is not the same, because in all fairness Jello is much better for you than twinkies, but you get the idea.

The new Jello with antioxidants is sugar-free and contains only 10 calories per serving, which is great. But If I look at the label and I see that a product contains more artificial stuff in it than the number of core ingredients, I do not really care how many calories it has. Why can’t they make Jello with antioxidants and without any artificial ingredients?
