Have you ever heard of the Jell-O diet? Well, it exists, unfortunately, and you can thank our favorite celebrities for its creation. Why was the Jell-O diet created? Some claim that it was created because actors look at least 10 pounds heavier on the screen than they do in real life.

The business is so competitive that most do whatever it takes to look skinny and sexy. It is little wonder that the stars use extreme measures to decrease body fat. Jell-O is one of their most popular diet foods and allegedly is a favorite among many celebrities. Many top their Jell-O with Cool Whip, another low-calorie favorite.

Do not fall into the Jell-O/Cool Whip trap. These foods promote yo-yo dieting that leads to an unhealthy cycle of rapid weight loss followed by unhealthy and unattractive weight gain.
