Jay Leno lost weight. What? Yes, Jay Leno’s weight loss is real. I am very surprised by Jay Leno’s weight loss. Why? Because Jay Leno’s weight loss is one of those things that you just do not expect to happen any time soon, like ever.

Jay has been making rather insensitive jokes about overweight people for years, but I guess he was not aware of the fact that he was overweight himself and needed to lose weight.

It finally happened. Jay Leno lost weight. How much weight has Jay Leno lost? Jay Leno’s weight loss is estimated to be around 12 pounds, which is disappointing. He probably needs to lose another 20 pounds, if not more. Do not get me wrong, I am very glad that he decided to get in shape, but at his age (he is 59) he needs to do more, and even more importantly, he has to figure out how to keep the lost weight off.

No doubt, regular exercise has a lot of benefits, but it is more important to focus on your eating habits, than, say, on cardio. In Leno’s case, running for four miles a day is counterproductive. Cardio wastes muscle, which is something he does not have to begin with. Walking a couple of miles a day, is a much better alternative.
