Jared Fogle Weight Gain

Jared Fogle‘s weight gain – real or not? Is Jared Fogle’s weight gain surprising? Jared Fogle’s weight gain appears to be real, which raises more questions than it answers. What does Jared Fogle’s weight gain say about the sustainability of following a fast food diet? Why would anyone want to eat fast food anyway? I mean, sure, the best burger in San Francisco and the best burger in Los Angles are great, and I am actually craving a burger right now, but with so much food choices out there, why would you want to limit your diet to fast food only?
What can we learn from Jared Fogle’s weight gain? A few things come to mind, but the most obvious and important conclusion is simply this: Jared Fogle’s weight gain seems to suggest that he has not learned how to maintain weight loss, which is hardly surprising, don’t you think? Obviously, people lose weight in a number of different ways, but Fogle’s weight loss was destined to fail because he has not really changed his eating habits, he simply reduced his caloric intake by eating basically the same foods that made him gain weight in the first place.
The bottom line on Jared Fogle’s weight gain Sure, if, for example, you change your diet from eating a bucket of ice cream each day to eating only a half of bucket of ice cream each day, you will lose some weight. I know, it is an extreme example, but I think it demonstrates a point I am trying to make – i.e., the fast food diet is a fast food diet, even if you reduce calories by eating less burgers and fries, you are still eating nutritionally jejune foods that make weight maintains unnecessary difficult. Saying that Jared lost his weight eating fast food is misleading. Jared lost his weight by avoiding the burger places and eating healthy choices at Subway. A 6″ turkey for one meal and a footlong veggie for another. Your article lumped Subway into the greasy fast food category, which is misleading and unfair. Jared has been the face of Subway for ten years, which means he has maintained his weight loss for ten years, quite an accomplishment. We all tend to go through fluctuations in weight, but are not in the constant spotlight.
Thanks for the time. Jim.
