Jaime Pressly’s workout is nothing short of a total and complete craziness. Okay, I take that back – Jaime Pressly’s workout is kind of insane though. Have you ever heard of a celebrity who is into the “no pain, no gain” thingy? Well, when it comes to exercise, Jaime is into that. “I’ve always exercised really hard,” she says.
And here is something else – Jaime Pressly’s workout does not seem to include yoga or Pilates, which is a rarity for a female celebrity in Hollywood. As a celebrity, however, Jaime is pretty much required to have a personal trainer, his name is Mike Jones.
Mike keeps Jaime Pressly’s workouts fresh and focused. She does not rest between sets, which is not easy to do, but it keeps her metabolic rate up and helps her burn more calories in a shorter amount of time. She does weightlifting and a number of different cardio exercises such as kickboxing or running on a treadmill.
How many times a week does Jaime workout? She exercises four days a week. Her favorite moves? High kicks. “They sculpt the entire side of your body, including your love handles and saddlebags,” says Pressly.
The bottom line on Jaime Pressly’s workout I do not think you need to do kicks of any kind to sculpt the side of your body, and I would not recommend not taking a short break between the sets. That said, her exercise plan is great; it focuses on working with free weights and it targets large muscle groups while giving her just enough cardio. [via]
