Jackie Warner: Workout
“Anyone who comes to my gym has to like dogs,” warns Jackie Warner.
The star of Bravo’s Work Out has good reason to feel that way — her two Chihuahuas, Picchu and Lima, are permanent fixtures at her exclusive fitness center. “I work them out every day,” says Warner.
“They get a good workout running around my yard. But at the gym, they like to chase people running on the track,” she laughs.
Jackie Warner doesn’t only whip her petite pups into tip-top shape, she also trains some of Hollywood’s hottest stars at her Sky Sport and Spa in Beverly Hills.
“For me, changing a person’s body is also changing their life. I can’t stand how people look at fitness as superficial,” she says. “I feel really good about being able to touch so many lives.”
But at home, Picchu, 8, and Lima, 8-and-a-half, have taught Jackie some life lessons. “It’s about really caring for something without wanting anything back,” she says. “You don’t get that with people.” [via]

Dear Jackie,
I am a mother of two and a wife of 37 years. I was diagnosed with Parkinson's "Disease about 8 years ago. I work out with a trainer two times a week. It is important for people with neurological diseases to be healthy in every way. I am at a plateau now and my doctor does not want to change my meds. I am also at a plateau with my trainer. Hi Jackie:
I am 43 years old - I work out six days a week - 1 hour a day cardio -
Monday, Weds and Friday - Legs; Tues., Thurs and Sat. - Upper Body (2 hours six days a week all together)- I see great results on my upper body but it seems forever for my lower body - I have been doing this faithfully for four months - any suggestions? Thank you.

first off i have to say i loveeeeeee your show, you are off the hook, and im very proud of what you have and what you are doing for your self and what you do with your employees, not many are like you for sure..The reason why i'm writing to you is that im 41 yrs old, and i was working out 5 times a week but i got discourged because of myself image. i have battle scars and i never enlisted in the war. meaning i had 4 back surgery in which it is spinal fused L 4/5 ,3 endometriosis, gallbladder removed,ingunel hernia repaired ( lower left side )and now i i just had tubaliazation done in which im soooooooo depressed about, so basically my mid area went thru hell ...i know i have lost muscle tone major big time for having a son 14 yrs ago.....im trying to prevent and not think about surgery to bring back the muscle to my spine, lypo, you know im a 154 lbs i know a lot has to do in exercising cuz when i was i was 158 muscle weight, i really wanted to tone my mid area, im sooooo down and have such low self esteem about myself that i cover myself up ,i wont go to the beach, i hate looking at myself...what can i do, i love to work out big time,wieghts doesnt bother me, i can give you my number to tell you more about what i take if you have the chance, let me know know, i appreciate this cuz i had a trainer but he had passed away...well God bless you, madeline
