How to Lose Weight in 30 Days

How to Lose Weight in 30 DaysCheri Stockheimer didn’t just lose weight in 30 days, she has lost whole bunch of weight. Yes, it took her more than 30 days to lose all that weight, but she lost over 100 pounds.

The thing is, it really doesn’t matter whether you want to lose weight in 30 days, two weeks, or a month – what she did works for any time period you have in mind. Here is her story:

Turning Point: Raised to be “a clean your plate” kid, Cheri Stockheimer took that message to the extreme, thinking nothing of eating an entire loaf of bread or a pint of Ben & Jerry’s.

Then in January 2006, at age 36, the 5′6″, 240-lb. Stockheimer was diagnosed as “morbidly obese” and became “scared about what would happen if I didn’t change.”

How She Lost 100 Pounds: Inspired by her sister-in-law’s success with Weight Watchers, she borrowed the program’s literature and began counting calories.

Her meals — noted in a food diary, so she’d “be aware of what I ate” — would be a half a cup of Kashi and Fiber One cereals with yogurt for breakfast, a Lean Cuisine meal for lunch and a chicken breast on a wheat bun for dinner. Cheri also did cardio and weight-training five days a week.

Her 100-LB. Moment: After she got on the scale, “I stood there quietly screaming since everybody in the house was still asleep,” she says. But she’s about to get the chance to flaunt her success. “I’m going to my high school reunion this week looking better than I left. I feel attractive — finally!” [via]

I think it says that it took her more than a month to lose 100 pounds. I believe she has lost 100 pounds in about a year.
