How Britney Spears Lost Weight

To lose weight, Britney Spears’ diet and workout program went through a major transformation. Here is what she did to lose weight:
Britney Spears’s new diet Her new diet calls for about 1,200 calories a day and contains plenty of protein and vegetables, but it is rather low in carbs, the bad ones that is.
Venti Starbucks Frappuccino (500 calories), replaced with Iced Coffee with Equal (0 calories). This is a smart switch for Britney. Coffee increases her energy and may also speed up her metabolism.
In-N-Out Cheeseburger (480 calories), replaced with Grilled Salmon (250 calories). Fish -derived protein is not necessarily better than red meat, but it does contain healthier fats and less calories.
Fruit Cup (80 calories), replaced with Avocado (200 calories). Ah, I bet you did not see this one coming. When it comes to weight loss, your daily calorie intake is obviously important, but do not forget the carbs. Avocado contains a healthy monosaturated fat; a typical fruit cup on the other hand, contains a lot of carbs and not much fiber.
Britney Spears’s new workout Britney works out five days a week. Her new workout focuses on cardio and body part-specific exercises. She works different muscle groups on different days, which is a good way to mix things up. [source: OK!]
