Help Me Lose 20 Pounds
Hi! Thank you for taking your time out to read my letter; hopefully you will respond in time. I have taken my body through some rough hardships by eating sweets and other fatty things and so I now weigh 165lbs. I am an aspiring model so that weight is not going to cut it.
I have auditions in February and some more after that so I need to lose at least 20 pounds, I know that might sound insane and I am NOT an anorexic or suffering from bulimia. I’m supposed to have a natural slim build but somewhere along the line I became depressed and food and sweets became my comfort. I need to know what can get me to my goal of 140 (nothing below) and get me there fast and without major harm. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP ME.
Sincerely,
Shana [via Ask Questions]
Have you read How to Lose 20 Pounds? If you have not read it, read it; it pretty much contains everything you need to lose 20 pounds or any amount of weight for that matter.
By the way, it is awesome that you want to become a model and that you realize that anorexia or bulimia is not the way to go. But eating sweets and too many calories is not the answer either.
You said that you have a naturally slim build, which means that it should be fairly easy for you to lose 20 pounds and return to your natural build. I think you already know what you need to do to accomplish that. I mean, you know how you gained 20 pounds, right?
So to lose 20 pounds, all you need to do is to stop eating too many sweets and fatty foods. I am not saying that you need to completely cut these foods out, but you have to return your daily calorie intake to the level it was before you started gaining weight.
Eat lean protein, veggies, healthy fats (olive oil, take fish oil supplements) and fruits. Stay active. I do not care what you do, but do something to move your body; go for a walk, clean your house, wash your car, etc.
