Which foods are healthy to eat? I can certainly bore you with a long list of healthy foods to eat, but I do not want to do that. Instead of giving you a list of healthy foods to eat, let’s examine how anyone can turn your favorite junk food meal into something better.

Skip the fries Instead of pairing a fast-food burger with french fries, ask for a small salad with dressing on the side.

Add plenty of veggies Forget the pepperoni! A slice of pizza topped with veggies is full of fiber and helps the body stay satisfied longer.

Make sandwiches whole grain Ditch the white bread and ask for whole wheat stuffed with lean turkey – and hold the mayo.

Stick with soft tacos and salsa Soft tacos (often baked, not fried) with salsa (instead of sour cream) are a tasty low-cal option.

Do not drink the calories Instead of sugary syrups, add a dash of cinnamon to coffee and stick to skim or 1 percent milk.

Get sauce on the side
When opting for Chinese, order steamed chicken, veggies and brown rice (no wontons!)with a side of sauce.
