Gwyneth Paltrow 2008 Diet and Workout
Shh, turns out Gwyneth Paltrow and her pal Madonna share celebrity trainer Tracy Anderson, with whom Gwyneth started working out two years ago.
Although Gwyneth has always been thin, it seems that she has recently added some extra muscle and looks pretty fit.
Does she look as fit as Madonna? No, she does not. But could Madonna’s ripped arms be her motivation? “She amazes me,” Gwyneth has said about Madonna’s muscles. “She’s so driven and such a perfectionist. She’s like this powerhouse that I could never be.”
Gwyneth Paltrow’s workout But it seems that a lot has changed since Gwyneth began training with Anderson, who usually meets with clients six days a week for an hour each of dance aerobics and muscular structure work.
“I’m always coming up with new things and really focus on not being repetitive,” Anderson says, adding that she designs custom workouts for every client. “I go after the little muscles, and I love a bit of crazy choreography to keep it exciting.” Let’s face it, little muscles or not, Gwyneth will never look as ripped as Madonna does.
Gwyneth Paltrow’s diet Gwyneth used to follow a strict macrobiotic diet, but these days, she says, “I do my own thing.” Her old personal chef, Lee Gross, says that she originally started eating macro – which consists of lots of in-season veggies, beans, fish and whole grains – to build her immune system.
Now, Gwyneth says, “I eat a lot of things that aren’t macrobiotic… But I’m not stressed out about it.”
The bottom line: If Gwyneth wants Madonna’s body, she needs to eat a diet high in animal protein. [via]
