Gretchen Rossi Bulimia

Gretchen Rossi Bulimia

Gretchen Rossi’s bulimia used to be out of control. While she was never overweight – her weight in high school and in college was only 130 pounds – she had major body issues. Gretchen Rossi’s bulimia experience started with a thought that she can eat anything she wants without gaining any weight if she throws up after each meal, and that’s how she became bulimic.

But the side effects were not pleasant at all. She became anemic, dehydrated and lethargic. Her skin discolored and her hair began to thin out. Eventually she got help, but to her credit she also decided to get educated on the subject of nutrition and exercise. How? By studying and passing the tests to become a certified personal trainer and nutritionist.

Gretchen Rossi’s experience with bulimia has taught her that no human body is perfect. And while she still does not like her legs and wants thinner thighs, she seems to understand now that it is more important to be healthy than at a certain weight. [source: In Touch]
