Free Diet Soda

Free diet soda? Awesome! What can be better than free diet soda? It is free and it is diet – I do not know about you, but to me it just screams like a total winner. I will take a pallet of this stuff, right?
But wait, wait – is free diet soda good for you? Can free diet soda help you lose weight? No and no. Actually, free diet soda is great for your wallet because, well, it is free. Other than that – as much as I love the idea of getting my hands on free diet products (free diet soda in this particular case) – I think you should stay away from it. What is so wrong with diet soda? Do not get me wrong, it is perfectly fine to enjoy a glass of soda once in a while, but research shows that diet soda can actually increase your chances of gaining weight.
In short, while diet soda does not contain any real sugar, it is still not “smart” enough to fool your body into thinking that you are not consuming sugar, so your body reacts as if you are drinking regular soda, which brings me to my next point.
It is impossible to beat the real thing. Assuming you only drink soda once in a while, do yourself a favor and go for the real soda, not diet soda.
