Food Combining for Weight Loss
Hello, I’ve read the post about the food combining diet, but I am still not clear if food combining for weight loss is the real deal. Does food combining for weight loss really work or do I need to use something like a low-fat diet instead to lose weight? Also, what’s wrong with combining protein with fat? Thanks. Benjamin. I thought I was pretty clear that the Food Combining Diet, in its traditional definition, is essentially a fad diet. Food combining for weight loss does not work simply because the whole idea behind food combining for weight loss is not based on any nutritional realities.
You do not necessarily need to follow a low-fat diet to lose weight. Personally, I do not like low-fat diets. If you need to lose weight, read the How Do I Lose Weight? post.
As for combining fat with protein, there is nothing wrong with. In fact, it is a good thing to do, assuming you are combining lean protein with a healthy form of fat, but there is nothing wrong with eating complex carbohydrates that are found in whole grains, fruits and vegetables either, so do not avoid them even if you need to lose weight.
