Flat Abs Exercise

Want flat abs? Here is a flat abs exercise to try, but it is not what usually is considered a flat abs exercise, it is, in fact, a back exercise called the standing cable pullover, but it works your abs harder than the classic crunch does. That’s what Finnish scientists discovered when they measured core muscle activity during several different movements.
To do the exercise, stand in front of a lat pulldown machine and grab the bar with an overhand grip, hands slightly wider than shoulder-width apart.
Keeping your back and arms straight, pull the bar down in an arcing motion until it touches your thighs. Pause, and then return to the starting position.
This exercise trains your lats (the largest muscles of your upper body) as well as your six-pack. [source: Men's Health]
