It’s hard to not get bummed watching grown men and women cry about being obese. But when they tear up because painful blisters are hurting their weight-loss efforts? That’s inspirational.
Set to trek from Boston to Washington, D.C., and camping out along the way, the majority of the 12 contestants here — which include a 470-lb. competitive eater and a 519-lb. preacher — are determined to make it.
Of course, there’s also an added incentive of $100 K each if all 12 cross the finish line. But for every party there’s a pooper, and here it’s Kim, a “former rap diva” who can’t stop moaning.
“I like you a lot, but that’s a wrap!” she tells one of the show’s trainers before holding out her thumb to hitchhike. No one likes a quitter, Kim. [via]
