Fat Kids Are Harder to Kidnap
Rihanna plunked down $35,000 for seven pieces of art by Todd Goldman at the Jack Gallery in LA. “They were about $5,000 each,” says Goldman. “John Mayer, Paul McCartney, Ashton Kutcher, Paris Hilton… they’ve all bought my stuff. It’s cool to see celebrities have a sense of humor.”
Indeed, Rihanna, 20, walked out with a painting of an overweight child (above). “I paint like a 5-year-old, but my humor is like an adult’s,” says Goldman. “I’m making fun of society’s obsession with being thin, especially in LA!”
