Fat and Carb Blocker
Are there any medications or pills on the market that will stop the absorption of food into your system? This is for a short term weight loss regimen. Linda. [via Ask Questions]
There are no pills that can block absorption of food. There are some supplements that claim they can block absorption of fat and carbohydrates. There is just one problem, the so-called fat and carb blocker promises more than it can deliver.
What is the problem with a typical fat and carb blocker? It does not work. That’s right, contrary to what you may have heard, fat and carb blockers do not really block anything. One exception? Alli (FDA approved diet pill) blocks fat absorption, but you need to follow a very strict diet for it to work.
The bottom line on fat and carb blocker Stay away! Stay away from diet pills, they do not work and can be potentially dangerous.
