Eva La Rue Diet

Eva La Rue Diet

Eva La Rue’s diet does contain questionable food choices. For example, Eva La Rue’s diet contains such things as Baked Lays chips and Baked Doritos. Far from ideal, true, but in her defense, she only eats them to satisfy her cravings.

“I love the taste of real food, so I just try to eat less of it,” says Eva. In fact, the one thing she cannot resist is Mexican. “I love it with all my heart,” she says. “There’s not one thing on a Mexican menu that I won’t eat – twice!” Despite her apparent obsession with Mexican food, Eva La Rue’s diet is pretty healthy.

Here is a sample of Eva La Rue’s diet menu and what I think of some of her choices.

Breakfast “My favorite breakfast is MorningStar sausage patties,” says Eva. “They’re soy, but they taste exactly like meat.” She makes sure to grab two of those with coffee or an egg sandwich. But what is wrong with the real thing? It is impossible to beat a grass-fed sausage.

Lunch “I’m usually on set, and they grill a lot of things,” says Eva, who has chicken or fish, then loads up her plate with veggies or salad with a “tiny bit of dressing.” Not bad at all, except that eating grilled meats every day is not a good idea.

Dinner Eva keeps her dinner small, so she has whatever she’s making for her 7-year-old daughter, Kaya – like steak. “I have a piece and then fill up on veggies so I’m not tempted to have a big portion of something a lot worse.”

Snack Eva often makes tuna fish, which she eats on one slice of toast (folded over) with low-fat cheese. “I try to have very little bread and few carbs, but I need to keep my energy up,” she says. A balanced low-carb diet is a good eating strategy. [via]
