So what happened, why did Eminem gain weight? According to some sources, the cause of the weight gain is depression, which he has been battling ever since his best friend was killed in 2006.

The 5’8� Eminem has reportedly gained a lot of weight recently and now tips the scale at around 200 pounds. It has been reported that he was diagnosed with a not life-threatening heart condition for which he takes medication and recently, he was hospitalized for a few days with pneumonia.

People close to him claim that depressed Eminem is seeking comfort in non-stop binge eating, which is obviously a very bad idea. I hope he will pull through this situation and if he does so quickly, we may never see Eminem’s fat picture.
