Eat Slowly: Lose Weight

Do you want to weight less? Eat less, lose weight – oh, okay, thanks Pappy! I am not buying it, though. I think it is some sort of scheme my wife came up with to make me spend less on my favorite foods.
No, really, it does work. If you eat slowly, you will eat less, which could help you lose some weight, according to a recent study.
“When eating quickly, the women took in an average of 646 calories in nine minutes. But when they slowed down, they consumed 579 calories in 29 minutes…â€?
I am sure you have already calculated the difference of 67 calories between slow and fast eaters. At first, 67 calories may seem insignificant, but let us do some simple math.
If this study holds up in real life, potentially you can consume about 70 fewer calories at each meal.
At three meals a day, this deficit translates to 210 calories a day, 1,470 calories in a week and approximately (wait for it) 44,100 calories in a month – that is impressive!
