Drunken Women
I wonder how they come up with these studies but apparently, drunken women are more common than you might think.
According to a study out of Loyola Marymount University, women are more likely to binge drink during drinking games.
Women play the games as often as men, the study says, but when they do, they are more likely to experience personality changes, drive drunk, and have unprotected sex.
In other news, University of Arizona researchers found that women’s desk harbor three to four times more germs than men’s desk do.
Three-quarters of the female employees in the study kept food in their desk drawers, which researchers said could explain the abundance of germs.
And there you have it: drunken women, filthy desks and who knows what else they are going to find. Not so fast. Researchers at Harvard have found what many women have suspected all along: Men are mad as hell!
That’s right, 10 million men in the U.S. are so angry, they are sick. The condition is not new and it has a name: intermittent explosive disorder, but according to the study, it is far more common than anyone believed.
They have found that almost 1 in 10 men display wildly disproportionate aggression, and are so angry that they are likely to damage property, or threaten or injure others. The same study found that only half as many women suffer from this condition. [via]

These studies crack me up. I particularly like the ones that prove that college kids binge drink. Well gee, duh! :] But I didn’t realize gals were more prone to do it during drinking games, so this, at least, is new information.
