Does Green Tea Make You Lose Weight?

Does green tea make you lose weight? That’s what I’ve heard, but does green tea make you lose weight for real or is it just a myth? If green tea does work for weight loss, how much of it should I drink, or should I just take the green tea extract supplements? Does green tea make you lose weight? The short answer is no, it does not. The weight loss breakfast, on the other hand, could help you lose weight. Some questionable studies do seem to suggest that taking green tea supplements or drinking green tea speeds up metabolism, but in my opinion, green tea is not powerful enough to produce any real weight-loss results. It is a good idea, however, to drink green tea because of its health benefits.

If you need to lose weight, forget about taking supplements. Focus on being active and on following a good diet. Diet supplements have a very poor weight-loss record. In general, they do not work. Spend your money on buying quality foods and perhaps on a gym membership.
