Diet: Red Meat Causes Breast Cancer?

Here is a “shocker�: eating red meat may cause breast cancer in pre-menopausal women, and vitamins do not help prevent heart disease in women, according to two new studies from the Harvard Medical School.
The “shocker� being - - here is another study which scares people and does not provide any answers. Who funds these studies and what purpose do they serve?
Women who took vitamin C did lower their risk of stroke by 42 percent, and smokers “had a 48 percent lower risk.� Other vitamins, such as folic acid and B vitamins did not show any cardiovascular benefits, but who has ever claimed otherwise?
The red meat study was not a real study. It was just an observation based on questionnaires.
The women who ate more red meat were more likely to smoke and be overweight, but when the researchers took those factors into account, they still saw that red meat was linked with an increased risk of breast cancer.
That is like saying that exercise increases the risk of injury. Of course it does, if you do not use proper form. Instead of giving us few clues, they should have looked into the type of red meat that causes breast cancer. I bet grass-fed organic beef actually decreases the chance of developing cancer.
On another hand, processed meat loaded with nitrites, and grain-fed red meat from cows that were injected with hormones, probably increases the risk of developing various cancers and other diseases.
