The drama over Tyra Banks’ weight gain is not over. National Enquirer is reporting that Tyra underwent a liposuction procedure. I am fairly certain that these claims are completely bogus, but here is how the story goes.

“Tyra Banks went on a rampage on her TV talk show last month, telling those who pointed out her obvious weight gain to “kiss my fat a –.”

But the former supermodel – who’s been outspoken about telling women to love their bodies as they are – is hiding a shocking secret: A source close to Tyra claims the 33-year-old underwent liposuction surgery!

“Tyra’s trying to come across as the spokesperson for full-figured women,” said the source. “But what she’s not saying is that she’s had a little help knocking off pounds and lumps thanks to the miracle of modern science!”

According to the source, Tyra had the fat-removal procedure done “from head to toe” last year. If she did have the procedure, its effects apparently did not last.

Photos of the once-svelte stunner surfaced this past December showing she’d gained a considerable amount of weight – and Tyra went on a tirade. “I think it’s hypocritical of Tyra because she appears to want to have it both ways,” said the source.

“She claims she’s perfectly happy with her body and women should keep realistic goals when it comes to body image. But at the same time, she’s had the luxury of liposuction, which most women can’t afford.”

When contacted by The ENQUIRER, Tyra’s spokesperson, Elana Weiss, adamantly denied that Tyra had undergone the procedure.

Tyra has admitted she’s “not the healthiest eater” and doesn’t hold herself to the same standard she did during the height of her catwalk career, but she still claims to be comfortable in her skin.

According to another insider, Tyra began considering the procedure last year when her poor diet and lack of exercise caused her to pack on a large amount of weight over a short period of time.

After retiring from modeling in 2005, the 5-foot-10 beauty gained 30 pounds. “I don’t know if she ended up getting it done, but liposuction is something that she thought about long and hard,” said the insider.
