That alone calls for a celebration. It gets better (rolls eyes). It promises to cleanse your body of harmful toxins in only 7 days, and you do not need to change your lifestyle.

Its promo states, “Detox and revitalize in only 7 days! Detox 7 combines two unique cleansing products in one convenient box to aid in digestion when trimming your waistline for a more energetic lifestyle!�

What are these two unique cleansing products? Another ad explains:

“The pre-measured fiber is a great tasting herbal and multi-fiber formula that gently works with your body’s digestion, and the energizing caplets provide beneficial herbs that target you internally for a complete, natural cleansing process that keeps you feeling revitalized and energized.â€?

Translation: Detox 7 contains only 2 grams of fiber per serving, which you can easily obtain from even a low-carb diet.

As for “energizing caplets� and other ingredients, I was trying to understand what they are, but my head started spinning.

There are two proprietary blends: Detox 7 Fiber Packets and Detox 7 Capsules. I am always skeptical about proprietary blends. Why? Because the amount of each ingredient is not stated, but that is not a real issue here.

The list of ingredients is ridiculously long, 44 ingredients in one serving! None of which are supported by credible science as detox aids. Not to mention that swallowing so many different herbs, roots and extract at once, is potentially dangerous.
