Beckham signed on as the global face of Emporio Armani’s S/S ‘08 underwear campaign, which should earn him $40 million over three years ($210 million less than his reported salary to play with the LA. Galaxy).
A source close to David says that Beckham pal Tom Cruise is behind the whole operation: “Giorgio Armani is very friendly with Tom, and Tom is friendly with David.
