Danica Patrick’s diet has no surprises. She is 5′2″ and 105 pounds, which seems ideal for her line of work, or is it? True, in theory, the lighter you are, the faster your car goes, except that you have to be very strong to control a car at those crazy racing speeds, and that’s where Danica Patrick’s diet comes in.
It is hardly surprising that Danica Patrick’s diet focuses on protein and complex carbohydrates. What does she eat for breakfast? Egg whites, homemade steal cut oatmeal (the best oatmeal out there, in my opinion) with cinnamon, some sugar, flax meal (provides additional fiber), and a tablespoon of peanut butter.
While it is unclear if Danica Patrick’s diet contains more protein or complex carbs, I would estimate her rations to be around 60 percent carbs and 40 percent protein. Her lunch usually consists of a few turkey sandwiches with tomato, lettuce, mustard, and some cheese.
Danica says that she has to eat something every three hours or so, because she gets hungry, so snacks definitely play an important role in Danica Patrick’s diet. She usually snacks on apples and whole-grain crackers with peanut butter.
