Popeil Showtime Rotisserie Review
When I saw Popeil’s Rotisserie advertised on TV I was immediately skeptical. Isn’t it a common knowledge that “As Seen on TV” products turn out to be pretty useless? Maybe it is not a common knowledge, but I instinctively did not pay much attention to the infomercial. A few months later, I was visiting a friend of mine, who is also an executive chef at a popular restaurant.
During this visit, something happened that forever changed my view of infomercials. Ever since, I have been known to spend at least four hours every day gazing at infomercials on my TV, while washing down Krispy Kreme glazed donuts with Cherry Coke. Okay, it is not true. It has been a while since I ate a donut and I still do not watch infomercials, but when I saw Popeil’s Rotisserie in my friend’s kitchen, I was rather surprised. (more…)
