Carrie Underwood: Workout and Diet

Carrie Underwood: Workout and DietAccording to Life & Style magazine, Carrie Underwood has lost 20 pounds.

Her weight now is 110 pounds, which seems a bit low, but she looks healthy. Her diet went through a transformation as well.

She is a vegetarian and her favorite food is pizza, but she ditched rich Southern fare. “It’s important not to have a whole lot of junk food lying around,” says Underwood.

As for her workout, she says, “I really don’t get to exercise that much, but I do run around onstage every night.” Look at those legs, whatever she does it seems to be working for her.

110 is to thin for her height and if you have to write every single thing you eat down then you have a problem a BIG one and it will lead you to worry about your weight constantly She has a great voice and being fat or thin should not matter in society if you are loved for your voice.

  2. Tea Says:

That’s the funny thing Melvin. I SHOULDN’T matter if you’re fat or thin. But it matters so much more than many people are willing to admit. You’re in a whole different category of fame if you’re overweight. The way they portray Carrie in the media right now would be totally different if she was bigger.

    The End!

  3. Liz Says:

Hey Melvin! let’s see a pic of your PERFECT body! Maybe you should write things down!

  4. BJ Says:

110 is not to thin for her height of only 5′3″, but she also doesn’t need to lose anymore either.

  5. Renee Says:

Carrie , you are hot young and sexy, Do your thing gurl.
we have a few haters that have to tell you ,you are 2 thin. work it gurl, help out the young gurls that are follow you.

  6. John Sylvia Says:

5′4 110 is about 10 lbs heavier than she should be. 110 is an ideal weight for someone who is 5′6″.

  7. Ann Says:

    Actually John Sylvia,
for every inch over five feet a person should add 5 pounds. For example, If you are 5′3 (as carrie is), you should weigh around 115 lbs. So she is in the bottom of her healthy range. If a person who is 5′6 weighs around 110 I would be worried. Of course for every person there are variations. Someone who is 5′5 may have a very small bone structure but someone who is 5′3 could have a larger bone structure and they both could weigh the same. It is a matter of each individual body having completely different shapes and frames.

I understand what Melvin is thinking, it could become an obsession if you write everything you eat down all the time. Some people write it down when they are initally dieting or even on weight watchers you keep track of points. Many people do need to keep a total in their minds or they will over do it. I dont think its a problem as long as you are using it to manage what you eat and not to expell certain food groups. But regarding her weight I dont think she’s too thin. She looks great. Lots of people fluctuate a bit also and as long as she is at that weight because of exercise and eating balanced meals there’s no harm in it.

  9. Michelle Says:

Hey i am like 5 foot 5 and weigh around 115-120. is that good?

  10. Megan Says:

I’m 5′2 and I’m currently 120. My goal weight is 105-110. Ppl tell me that I’m fine, and that im small, but I have a lot of fat that surrounds my muscles! Carrie was the same way. She wasn’t bad the way she was before, but when u start eating healthy (vegetarian), running around on stage, and exercising to keep your endurance up, you are naturally going to thin out. She is not too thin…look at her, she’s ripped and her bone structure is naturally small. I think she looks amazing and I think she’s a great role model for all of us!

  11. Megan Says:

And to michelle, yes that weight is fine for your height! But don’t go based on what other ppl think. We don’t know your body type or composition, so it’s really not our place to say. You are the one who has to live with your body, and if you are comfortable and confident in ur body the way it is now, then rock it. But if u want to tone up or even lose a pound or two, then don’t listen to ppl when they try to put u down, bc they will. You do what feels right and what is ultimately best for you

  12. Megan Says:

And to melvin! She doesn’t write down everything she eats! First off, she doesn’t have the time. Second, she doesn’t even have a trainer, so we know right there that she’s not obessed with her weight! She’s made really healthy lifestyle changes, and she should be rewarded and acknowledged for that, not belittled or made to feel scrutinized!
