Carrie Underwood Shape MagazineCarrie Underwood is the latest cover of the Shape magazine. How cool is that? She has lost 20 pounds, got her diet in order and put together a pretty good exercise program which is designed to keep her toned and fit.

“I was heavier. Still, there’s nothing worse than going online and reading that someone has called you chubby,� says Carrie. Chubby? I never thought she was chubby. She was normal, but now she almost looks like a fitness model.

Although she has lost some weight, Carrie understands that it is unnecessary and unhealthy to obsess over her weight, which is a little challenging in Hollywood. Everybody is doing it, but I do not think Carrie is a follower.

“I’m a performer, and yes, being in good shape is part of the package. But I don’t ever want to get neurotic about my weight. I feel healthy and I know I’m a good size for me. And that’s what’s most important,� she says.

I cannot agree more. The fact is that you can never please everybody. It is your body and if you feel good and satisfied with the way it looks, nothing else really matters. [source: Shape]
