Calories in Eggs: Eggs Nutrition

Hi

Just wanted to know if eggs are really good for you. I heard that they can lower your calories?

Eggs are really good for you. They are a pretty good source of protein, vitamins and minerals. Eggs work particularly well with slow-digesting carbs, think oatmeal and fruit. Try this for breakfast: eggs with oatmeal or fruit.

I am not sure what you mean when you say that eggs can lower calories. As far as I know, the only way to lower your calorie intake is to consume fewer calories. It is true, however, that eggs can be considered a low-calorie food. A hard-boiled egg contains 155 calories and 12 grams of protein.

    Hello,

In this article it is mentioned that hard boiled eggs contains 12 grams of protein but i have heard that it contains 4 grams only.
Can you give me confirmation about it and recommend other high protein diet.

A raw, fresh egg contains 10.9 grams of protein. A cooked egg contains more protein because the process of cooking actually increases its protein content. A hard-boiled egg contains 12.58 grams of protein. A fried egg contains 13.63 grams of protein.

    umm… I don’t know what kind if freak eggs you’re eating, but I’m pretty sure a hard-boiled egg has 70-80 calories…
