I want to lose weight by calorie shifting. I read the article on this site explaining how it works and when to up shift and down shift, but what I really need to know is (1) WHAT TYPE OF FOODS SHOULD I EAT ON DIFFERENT DAYS AND DIOFFERENT TIMES? (2) THE DIET SUGGESTS EATING AT CERTAIN TIME INTERVALSâ€¦.WHAT TIME SHOULD I EAT ON UPSHIFT DAYS AND DOWN SHIFT DAYS?? I am going insane trying to find info on the net, all I keep getting is directed to several web-pages that require me to order a diet menu!! Doesn’t someone know? I do not have the money to order and I am dying to lose weight by this method!!! Since you are an EXPERT, can you please let me know?? The calorie shifting diet is not a food-specific diet. It does not really matter what you eat, as long as you do not go over your daily calorie limit. Of course, it does matter what you eat – I am not saying that it is okay to eat fast food every day – the point is that the calorie shifting diet is not one of those diets that focuses on eating specific food.
It also does not matter when you eat, you can eat your breakfast at 7:30 am or at 9 am, you can eat your dinner at 6 pm or at 8 pm, etc. Generally speaking, you do not want to go without food for more than 4 hours, but you also do not want to eat a lot of food in one meal – so if you are on a 2,000-calorie diet, try to eat 4-to-5 meals a day (each meal should contain roughly the same amount of calories).
As for a specific diet plan, the calorie shifting diet works with any diet, which means that whatever diet plan you are on right now should work with it.
