According to In Touch, Britney Spears “may have suffered from postpartum depression after giving birth to each of her sons,” which could explain why she reportedly had bottles of prescription drugs (Paxil and Xanax) in her bag.
“Paxil is an antidepressant, while Xanax, which can be addictive, is a depressant used for short-term relief of anxiety.”
