Brian Wansink: Mindless Eating

Who is Brian Wansink? He is the author of the Mindless Eating: Why We Eat More Than We Think book.

An Iowa native, Brian Wansink (Ph.D., Stanford, 1990) is the John S. Dyson Professor of Marketing and Nutritional Science in the Applied Economics and Management Department at Cornell University, where he is Director of the Cornell Food and Brand Lab. (FoodPsychology.Cornell.edu)

He is a Fulbright Senior Specialist in food marketing and nutrition. His award-winning academic research on food has been published in the world’s top marketing, medical, and nutritional journals.

It has been presented, translated, reported, and featured in television documentaries on every continent but Antarctica.

He lives with his family in Ithaca, New York, where he is a mediocre saxophone player in a rock-and-roll band and where he regularly enjoys both French food and french fries.
