Bonkers Super Skinny Tea

Bonkers Super Skinny TeaHow much weight can you lose if you go bonkers? That’s a good question, isn’t it?

Surprisingly, after drinking Bonkers Super Skinny Tea, I am still sane and far from super skinny. What’s going here?

Nothing! That’s what’s going on. And frankly, I’m a bit disappointed.

How can a product which proclaims to be “the ultimate diet tea” that “supports weight loss” and “boosts metabolism” - - deliver so little?

The Super Skinny line of teas comes in four flavors (Ginger Peach, Lemon Peppermint, Orangesicle, and Ultra Chai) and is made from yerba mate. It also contains green tea extract, gymnema sylvestre, and Citrin K.

Preliminary research shows that in combination with diabetes drugs, gymnema sylvestre may help people with type 1 or type 2 diabetes control blood sugar levels.

Limited research also indicates that it may decrease “bad” cholesterol and triglycerides in people with type 2 diabetes. Hmm, interesting… but I have a few questions:

Is it a good idea to take this herbal supplement if you don’t have diabetes? Does gymnema sylvestre promote weight loss? Does Bonkers Super Skinny Tea contain the same amount of gymnema sylvestre as was found to be possibly effective in clinical research studies?

No. No. And no!

So what about another ingredient, Citrin K? Actually, I’m not sure what it is. According to Bonkers, it “may help control appetite and increase the burning of fat.

Perhaps Citrin K and Citrimax Hydroxycitric Acid (a.k.a. HCA), which is a “star ingredient in Jana Skinny Water, is the same thing.

If it is the same thing, recent studies don’t support its weight loss and fat burning claims. Oh, and in lab animals it causes testicular atrophy.

Call me old-fashioned but when I get a sudden rush to shrink my “guys – I go for skydiving or tabata squats. Trust me, the latter burns more calories than any weight loss product on the market today.

Oh get off your high horse sweetie. Anyone with an ounce of commonsense knows you take these things to "augment" what you're already doing. Eating healthier and getting off your arse and moving. If you don't have a weight problem, goodie for you but if you do, I have found the teas to help in suppressing hunger.
