When it comes to weight loss, Beyonce Knowles is probably the last person you want to consult with. Remember her lemon juice diet disaster? But people change. What is so special about Beyonce’s weight loss?
Beyonce’s weight loss of 15 pounds seems pretty ordinary, except that this time, she did it the right way, which makes Beyonce’s weight loss a bit special.
Knowles has gained weight for her role as Etta James, which was easy for her to do because, well, it is always easy to gain weight.
So how has she lost weight? Beyonce’s weight loss comes courtesy of “boring food.” That’s right, this time, instead of using some jejune diet, she went on a “boring food” diet. In other words, she was “eating a lot of vegetables and bland, boring food.” As for exercise, she did “a lot of workouts and dancing.” [source: In Touch]

I think that’s a bit misleading – healthy food doesn’t need to be boring. There are some really tasty salads and healthy, homecooked meals full of flavour but low in fat and calories that can be enjoyed as part of a sensible weight loss plan.
Perhaps if people were a little more adventurous in the food choices then weight loss would not be seen as such a chore.
