What is the best bicep workout? It depends who you choose to believe. Some would argue that the best bicep workout has to involve dumbbells and barbell curls. I agree with that, but I am also a big fan of exercises that require you to use your own bodyweight.

That’s right; the best bicep workout is a pullup. Think about it. How much weight can you curl? 50 pounds? 100 pounds? Perhaps, but when you do a pullup, you are using your bodyweight, which is a lot more than 50 or even 100 pounds.

Obviously, there are a number of important contributing factors here – your diet, genetics, exercise intensity and other factors play a very important role in how fast and how much muscle mass you can potentially develop – but more weight puts more stress on your biceps, which increases your chances of developing bigger arms.
