Baskin Robbins Ice Cream
The ad for the latest nutritional horror story Baskin Robbins ice cream says the following:
“Mama needs a time out. The Baskin-Robbins ice cream flavors you love are now conveniently available in Soft, Hard and Sugar Free candy flavors like Very Berry Strawberry, Mint Chocolate Chip, Cookies ‘N Cream and more.”
Does your mama need a time out for some hard candy? Ewww! Oops, sorry, I did not mean it the way it sounds. Blame it on Baskin Robbins ice cream; it is their ad after all.
I know, Baskin Robins ice cream does not pretend to be a health food, but do they need to make it even worst by adding candies to it? Your mama probably needs a break from all that sugar and artificial ingredients; she does not need candies in her ice cream.
To be fair, Baskin Robbins ice cream does come in a sugar-free version, but it would be so much better if they would make their ice cream with all natural ingredients and more protein. The protein to sugar ratio needs to be 1-to-1 and preferably higher, 2-to-1.
