Barack Obama: Workout

You have seen Barack Obama shirtless and now we know why he looks, well, scrawny with soft mid-section and undefined arms. Why does he look the way he does? He is in desperate need of a good personal trainer.
How do I know this? Well, looking at his shirtless picture, it is obvious that the guy does not know what he is doing at the gym. Oh, and a few days ago, he said so himself. “I wish I had time for a trainer,” said Obama while trying to work out at the gym.
Barack Obama’s workout As I have said before, he does not seem to follow a good diet, but Obama’s workout routine is just terrible. Allthough it is said that he does “a full body workout,” his routine does not seem to include the type of exercises he needs to do, i.e., multi-joint compound movements such as deadlifts, squats, and bench presses.
Instead of spending his time wisely at the gym, Obama’s workout seems to consist of isolation exercises such as calf raises and triceps push downs that work small muscle groups; these exercises are a waste of time.
But my main concern here is that he can easily injure himself. “In one set he [Obama] started with 50 lbs for overhead dumbbell extensions. He lifted it once, grimacing. He moved straight away to 40 lbs.,” says a source.
Who starts overhead extensions with 50 lbs. dumbbells? Oh that’s right – guys with 20-inch arms do that.
The bottom line: Somebody needs to tell Obama that a good personal trainer will actually save his time at the gym and more importantly, will prevent him from getting injured. [via Politico]

Still looks better than McCain and besides who cares? He's running for president, not hottest celeb of the year. So I truly doubt he has alot of time to be spending time in the gym getting buff.

I would rather have a scrawny pres. than "The GOVENATOR" it means he is doing more important things. As he said he doesn't have time for a trainer, which is a good thing. He must be busy doing things like developing a universal healthcare program, or working on details for an exit strategy from Iraq or whatever he does on his "spare" time. Those things are more useful and practical than working out

He could get big if he worked out arms and shoulders correctly and took lots of supplements. I'm thinking 200-300g of protein a day.
He has a narrow neck and weak facial features. That probably makes him look weaker than his small shoulders and arms.
