Angie Harmon Shape Magazine

Continued from Angie Harmon: Diet and Workout.
To ensure healthy eating, Angie Harmon’s family sticks to an all-organic diet, avoiding sugar (or “L-O-L-L-l-P-O-P-S,” as Angie Harmon spells out in front of her daughters) as much as possible.
“I even dilute the girls’ apple juice,” she says. Sure, every now and then they get a bite of birthday cake at a friend’s party. “It’s hilarious,” says Angie. “They’re like Tasmanian devils whirling around the room. You can definitely tell these girls don’t eat sugar very often!”
That’s great, nutritionally speaking sugar is not necessarily all that bad, but our diets seem to be overloaded with it. Fruit juices, for example, have no nutritional value, even if they are fortified with vitamins. After all, assuming one follows a balanced diet, it is easy to get the same vitamins from a modern diet. [source: Shape]
