Continued from Alanis Morissette’s Weight Loss.

Alanis claims that she does not believe in diets, but here is the reality: Alanis Morissette is on the diet and Alanis Morissette’s diet is very strict.

Do not get me wrong, I love that she managed to lose 20 pounds; she just does not seem to understand that she is on a vegan diet, which is notoriously hard to follow long term, not to mention the fact that vegan diets are not balanced, and thus require a lot of extra effort to follow.

Alanis Morissette’s diet So while I think one can do a lot better than Alanis Morissette’s diet, in case you are interested, here is what she eats:

Breakfast Flaxseeds for Omega 3s and fruit.

Lunch A big pile of salad with walnuts, radishes or carrots, but mostly greens and beans.

Dinner Some cooked soups; onions, broccoli, asparagus, Brussels sprouts, cauliflower and spinach in a veggie broth.

Dessert Homemade fig “ice cream.” A bunch of frozen bananas, figs and soy milk in the blender.

As for Alanis Morissette’s workout, she says that her shows give her more than enough exercise. When she is not touring, she does swimming, biking, jogging, and light weights.
