Stop the presses! 7Up is now 100% natural. It has no artificial ingredients or preservatives and it contains five 100% natural ingredients. Do you know what any of this means?

It sure sounds healthy, but in reality, it does not mean much, because FDA does not define what 100% natural means.

7Up now contains filtered carbonated water, natural citric acid, natural flavors, and natural potassium citrate.

Before they went all natural, they were using carbonated water, citric acid, and Calcium Disodium EDTA.

There is only one thing – they still use high fructose corn syrup. Is high fructose corn syrup also “100% natural”? I will let FDA answer this questions, but I know that it is not natural to our bodies.

Be careful with “natural” claims, they are often just a marketing gimmick.
